William D. "Bill" Warner, 58, of Wellington, IL, passed away at 7:11 P.M. Tuesday October 8, 2013 at his home in Wellington, IL. He was born August 20, 1955 in Danville, IL, the son of Wilbur and Viola Mae (Robertson) Warner. He married Karen Pate on September 17, 1977 at the Chestnut Street Church of Christ in Hoopeston. She survives in Wellington, IL. He is also survived by one daughter, Jamie (Larry) Pruitt of Wellington, IL; one son, Jarrod (Julie) Warner of Wellington, IL; one sister, Joanne Catron of Florida; six brothers, Bud Warner of Hoopeston, IL, Jerry Warner of Hoopeston, IL, Arthur "Art" (Jeanne) Warner of Rockford, IL, Steve (Susan) Warner of New Mexico, Irvin Warner of Hoopeston, IL and Mike (Kim) Warner of Wellington, IL; four grandchildren, Dylan, Kaileigh, Macy and Cale and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Betty, Edith and RuthAnn and two brothers, Paul and Herschel Lee. Bill worked at American Can in Hoopeston and later for RBT Trucking. He later became a self-made business owner, owning several different businesses including Wilkar Trucking, Cissna Park Bowl and Warner Lawn Service. Bill enjoyed fishing, bowling, riding his motorcycle, racing, playing softball and coaching youth baseball. The joy of his life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
