Sheila Wallace

June 29, 1949 - October 3, 2014

Sheila Annette Wallace, 65, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 8:00 P.M. Friday, October 3, 2014 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville, IL. She was born June 29, 1949, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Lloyd D. Simpson Sr. and Merle D. Shaw. She married William F. Wallace on January 29, 1949, in Danville. He preceded her in death. She is survived by two brothers, Lloyd (Gail) Simpson Jr. of Paris, IL and Lewis Edward “Eddy” (Becky) Simpson of Hoopeston, IL, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Mark Simpson. Sheila worked in the insurance business for nearly 15 years, with Heartland Insurance, then later with State Farm. She enjoyed crafts, painting, playing bingo and cards, especially poker, and enjoyed going to the boat to gamble. A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2014, 11:00 A.M. at Mann’s Chapel, Rossville, IL with Pastor Bruce McQuigg officiating. Memorials may be made to the Family c/o the Anderson Funeral Home, 427 E. Main St. Hoopeston, IL 60942
