April 30, 1955 - April 30, 2012

Ronald "Ronnie" Byerly, 57, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 8:12 A.M. Monday April 30, 2012, at the Hoopeston Community Memorial Hospital in Hoopeston, IL. He was born February 25, 1955, the son of Everett James and Mary Jane (Phillips) Byerly. He is survived by two brothers, Robert Byerly of Hoopeston, IL and Kenneth Byerly of Hoopeston, IL; two sisters, Linda K. Foster of Winfield, TN and Connie Lovell of Danville, IL, one niece, Linda Sue (Melvin) Stephens and one nephew Walter Lovell. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and two brothers, Everett James and Richard. Ronnie worked as a farm hand, for many years. He was an honorary lifetime member of the Hoopeston Jaycees. He will be remembered by many as a kind and gentle person, always lending a helping hand for many community activities. Ronnie especially enjoyed spending time with his brother Bob.
