Robert Lynn Irvin, 57, of Hoopeston, passed away at 8:50 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012, at his home in Hoopeston. He was born May 29, 1955, in Danville to Robert H. Irvin and Dovie M. (Cross) Irvin Fouse. Survivors include: sons, Tommy (Heather) Bretzinger, of Rensselaer, Ind., and Robby Irvin, of Hoopeston; stepson, Josh Inman, of Hoopeston; stepdaughter, Jessi Wilson, of Pine Village, Ind.; sisters, Sheila (Billy) Hardwick, of Rossville, Bonnie (Richard) Moore, of Hoopeston, Vivian "Elaine" (Todd) Crose, of Hoopeston; and brother, Nathan Irvin, of Hoopeston. Robert is also survived by seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Irvin; stepfather, Gene Fouse; grandparents, William Thoms, Laura Cross, George Milton and Freda Irvin; one brother, Milton Irvin; and two great-nephews. Robert worked as a dairy farmer for many years. He served in the United States Army from 1972-1974 in the Army Airborne Division. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
