Rebecca "Becky" Steidel

June 20, 1958 - November 6, 2015

Rebecca Elizabeth “Becky” Steidel, 57, of Danville, IL, passed away peacefully at home at 12:20 A.M. Friday November 6, 2015. She was born June 20, 1958, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Rev. Don and Martha Lou (Frazier) Williams. She married David Allen Steidel on November 15, 1975. He survives in Danville. She is survived by five sons, Robbie (Rebecca) Steidel of Rossville, IL, Douglas (Alicia) Steidel of Port St. Lucie, FL, Daniel Steidel of Hobe Sound, FL, Ricky (Karen) Steidel of Milford, IN and Devin Steidel of Danville, IL; one brother, Donald (Martha) Williams of Cayuga, IN; two brothers-in-law, Robert Brown of Casey, IL and James Steidel of Incirlik, Turkey; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 1 niece and 2 nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; one sister, Sarabell Brown; father-in-law, Rev. Richard Steidel; one grandson-in-law, Brent Western and one nephew, Donald Damien Williams. Becky served as a pastor’s wife, supporting her husband in his ministry. She was a woman of faith, praying for many and helped share God’s Word by serving on mission trips in five different countries. She was affiliated with ICHA and later attended the Bible Missionary Church in Georgetown. Becky’s hobbies included making stained glass and drawing. She enjoyed traveling to the Smoky Mountains and especially loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Memorials may be made to Touching Lives for Christ P.O.
