Mary Genevieve Taylor, 78, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 3:50 A.M. Thursday October 23, 2014 at her home in Hoopeston, IL. She was born August 9, 1936, in Albany, KY, the daughter of Homer Eugene and Sally Lillian (Voils) Madison. She married Kenneth Taylor and he preceded her in death. She is survived by one daughter, Libby Galloway of Hoopeston, IL; two sisters, Virginia (Haskel) Absher of Hoopeston, IL and Shirley (Vance) Brown of Albany, KY and one grandson, Travis Taylor of Potomac, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and two brothers. Mary worked at Dave’s Electronics in Hoopeston. She enjoyed fishing and drinking beer. Per her wishes, she will be cremated and no services will be held. .
