Kathleen Daniela Salter

September 3, 1975 - March 25, 2015

Kathleen Daniela Salter, 39, of Prescott, Arizona went to be with the Lord on March 25, 2015 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. Kathleen was born September 3, 1975 in Watseka, IL, the daughter of Kenneth Dale Salter and Vickie Lynn (Jeffers) Pierson. They survive. She is also survived by one sister, Shawnee Hibler of Rankin, IL and grandparents, Nellie Salter of Altoona, Alabama and Barbara McNew of Pace, Florida. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Don and Helen Jeffers and one uncle, Steve Salter. Kathy was in the Special Education that was integrated into regular classes, where she excelled, and graduated from Danville High School. Kathy worked at several jobs including the County Clerk’s office in Danville and the Danville High School library. She loved to bake, shop and eat out. She enjoyed playing board games. She made homemade cards for people in need of a smile and potpourri sachet bags for people in the nursing homes for Christmas. Kathy was a member of the Living Faith Christian Center in Prescott Valley, Arizona. She loved Jesus and had not one doubt or fear of Heaven, she was elated! She will be missed by all of those lives she touched. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the First Assembly of God, 428 N. Walnut Danville IL, at 12:00 P.M. with Ramona Logan officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 2, 2015 prior to the service from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Burial will be at the Floral Hill Cemetery in Hoopeston, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. .
