James Brian Hardwick

March 29, 1963 - October 27, 2017

James Brian Hardwick, 54, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 10:50 P.M. Friday October 27, 2017 at Carle Hoopeston Regional Health Center. He was born March 29, 1963, in Lafayette, IN, the son of William and Alice (Houser) Hardwick. He is survived by one son, Jacob Nelson (Morriah Davis) of Tilton, IL; one sister, Mary Hardwick of Hoopeston, IL; two brothers, Edward “Butch” Houser of Hoopeston, IL and Patrick Hardwick of Cheneyville, IL; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; two brothers, Adam and Billy Hardwick and 7 infant brothers and sisters. James worked at Stockland Grain Inc. as a machinist. He attended the First Church of God in Hoopeston. He enjoyed art, fabrication work, fishing, antique cars and spending time with his family. Cremation rites will be accorded, and no services will be held at this time.
