Gary Scott Moore

May 25, 1958 - June 1, 2022

Gary Scott Moore, 64, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 12:15 P.M. Wednesday June 1, 2022, at his home. He was born May 25, 1958, in Danville, IL, the son of Gary Eugene and Anna “Frannie” (Rayls) Moore. He is survived by his mother, Frannie Moore of Hoopeston, IL; two sons, Brandon Scott (Katie) Moore of Hoopeston, IL and Garrett Moore of Urbana, IL; one sister, Candy Warf (Hank Longfellow) of Wellington, IL; one brother, Barry Moore of Sidel, LA; one grandson, Kaleb Moore; several nieces and nephews; and his special friend, Buddy, the bird. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Moore; and one brother, Mike Moore. Scott worked at American Can in Hoopeston and later at Rantoul Products for several years. He enjoyed fishing, watching football, and drinking a beer with his friends. Cremation rites will be accorded, and a private family service will be held. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, 502 E. Main St. Hoopeston, IL 60942.
