Frances Louise Petty, 54, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 12:44 P.M. on Sunday August 21, 2016 at the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was born December 21, 1961 in Hayti, MO, the daughter of William Walter and Mary Ellen (Gaskins) Petty. She is survived by her significant other, Jose Palomo of Hoopeston, IL; three daughters, Ebony Palomo of Hoopeston, IL, Alicia (Valeriano) Zarate of Cissna Park, IL, and Samantha Palomo of Hoopeston, IL; two sons, James (Michele) Petty of Shorewood, IL, and Larry Palomo of Alamo, TX; sisters, Margie Brown of Cooter, MO, Mary Jane Petty of Portland, OR, and Candice Solis of Hoopeston, IL; brothers, John Henry (Sue) Petty of Gray Ridge, MO, William "Bub" Walter Petty Jr. of AL, and Jack (Nancy) Petty of MO; 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son and three siblings: Dewey Petty, Linda Kulb, and Mary Ann Boone. Frances was a homemaker. She enjoyed connecting with her friends, listening and providing advice to others, reading, and working cross word puzzles. She especially enjoyed her grandkids and spending time with her family. A visitation will be held 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. Friday August 26, 2016 at Anderson Funeral Home 427 E. Main St. Hoopeston. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 P.M. Friday August 26, 2016 at the funeral home, with Pastor Micah Mobley officiating. Burial will follow at the Floral Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
