Donna Hudson, 68, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 4:20 P.M. Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Carle Hoopeston Regional Health Center in Hoopeston, IL. She was born October 18, 1953, the daughter of Shelby and Bertha (Hurt) Savage. She married Billy Hudson on November 11, 1988, at the Hoopeston Community Church of the Nazarene. He survives in Hoopeston. Along with her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Natosha Menschel of Hoopeston; two sons, Will Hudson of Savannah, GA, and Aaron (Amanda) Hudson of Savannah, GA; one sister, Linda (Tom) Habel of Shelbyville, TN; one brother, Gail Savage of Hoopeston, IL; and four grandchildren, Austin Yepma, Harlie Menschel, Aiden Hudson, and Alexis Pryee. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and three brothers. For thirty years, Donna worked as a nurse in the ICU at Iroquois Memorial Hospital and then later at the Danville VA. She enjoyed gardening and traveling. Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and a service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Rock Counseling Group 201 W.
