Carol Louise Livingston

Carol Louise Livingston, 80, of Hoopeston, IL, passed away at 3:46 P.M. Monday August 17, 2020, at Heritage Health Therapy and Senior Living in Hoopeston. She was born August 17, 1940 at home in Wellington, IL, the daughter of John and Audrey (Flinn) Pate. She married Dale Livingston on July 7, 1961, at the Prairie Green Church of Christ. He survives in Hoopeston. She is also survived by two sons, Bryan (Jill) Livingston of Urbandale, IA and Bruce (Cathy) Livingston of Grove City, OH; one sister-in-law, Joyce Pers of Wellington, IL; 7 grandchildren, Michaela (Ryan) Lane, Mason Livingston, Angel (Payne) Davis, Katelyn (Nick) Tannehill, Miranda (Dale) Anderson, Reese Inman, and Christian Inman; 9 great-grandchildren, Aleeha Smith, Carter Smith, Ella Livingston, Brody Davis, Colby Davis, Eisley Anderson, Adelade Hegre, Elenor Hegre, and Winefred Hegre; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Rose; and three brothers, Al, Don, and John. Carol was a homemaker caring for her family. She later went to work helping Leon Polson with his insurance business. She attended Prairie Green Church of Christ where she was very active. She also served as a volunteer for the Grant Township Food Cupboard and was a member of the DAR. Carol enjoyed crocheting, reading, and spending time with her family. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Friday August 21, 2020 at Floral Hill Cemetery in Hoopeston with Rev. Dustin Wells officiating.
